The Role of the Governors
The Governing Body works in partnership with the Headteacher to set the future direction for the school and promote continuous improvement in the performance of the school. This involves:
Governors provide the Headteacher with support and advice, drawing on their knowledge and experience. The Headteacher is responsible for day-to-day management of the school. The governing body is there to be a ‘critical friend’, who can provide the right balance between supporting and challenging the performance of both the Headteacher and the school.
Contacting a Governor
There are currently 2 Parent Governors appointed by the parents of children registered at the school.Parent governors have the responsibility of representing parental views to the full governing body. If you would like anything to be raised with the governing body or need assistance with any school matter then please contact:
